PURPOSE:This Wiki is a collection place (file cabinet in the sky) of resources that will be used "back home" as your building/district implements the new PL standards.GOAL:Each of you will ADD a resource...sharing the brilliance in the room!
HELPFUL HINTS with Our WikiHere are a few helpful directions/hints as we co/create and shareour knowledge, skills, and resources. How to contribute in the Discussion:Anyone can contribute to the discussion, you don't have to be a member of the wiki. Each page of the wiki will have its own Discussion Tab. Click on the tab to add to the discussion. If you want to respond to a discussion that has already been started, just click on the subject of that discussion. Under Reply, type your message in the box. If you want to start a new discussion, Under Post Message create a title for your discussion, then type in the message box. How to add text to the wiki:You must Join the Wiki in order to add text to the page. On the left hand side of the page you'll see Join This Wiki. Once you join, sign in to the wiki. Click on the word EDIT. Just add your text where appropriate then click on Save. Add your first name to your entry so we know where it came from! How to add a photo to the wiki:You must Join the Wiki in order to add a photo to the page. Once you join, sign in to the wiki. Click on the word EDIT. Now click on the square icon (when you move your mouse over it, it says Insert Images and Files). Click on the tab that says Upload Files. Click on upload and navigate to where your photo is stored then click Select. Once the photo shows up in the window, double click on it and it will be placed on the wiki page. Click and drag the photo to move it around on the page. Then save page! How to embed on the wiki:Sign in to the wiki. You might want to embed a video or a voki. Copy the embed code from the video or voki. Then in the wiki, click on the icon that looks like a TV (when you move your mouse over it, it says Embed Widget). Choose whichever category is appropriate. If the correct one is not listed then choose Other HTML. Paste the embed code and click on Save.
